Privacy Policy

Last modified: October 25, 2026

Your privacy is very important to Graphic Node. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit graphicnode.com, contact us, or use our apps: the Templates apps (for Pages, Keynote, Numbers, Word, PowerPoint, Google Docs and Canva, Resume Templates, Infographics Prime and the Bundles) and Dippo. It also explains how we use and protect that information. Please take a moment to read it, and write to us if you have any questions.

Our apps don’t ask you to create an account. We don’t sell your information, show ads, or follow you across other companies’ apps and websites.

Collection and Use of Personal Information

Personal information is data that can be used to identify or contact a specific person.

What personal information we collect

  • When you contact us. If you write to us by email, through the contact form on our website or from inside one of our apps, we receive your name (if you give it), your email address, your message and anything you attach. Emails written inside an app also include the app version, the system version and the device model, so we can help you faster.
  • When you sign up for news. If you ask us to tell you when Dippo launches, we keep your email address for that purpose.
  • When you visit our website. Like every website, ours receives your IP address and basic browser information with each visit. Our hosting provider keeps this briefly in its logs.
  • When you download templates. The Templates apps download templates from our storage provider, which also sees your IP address.
  • When you allow notifications. If you allow notifications in a Templates app, we register your device so we can tell you about new templates and offers. For this we keep the address Apple gives your device for notifications, an identifier for your device (on a Mac, its serial number), the app and system versions, the installed Pages and Keynote versions, and your time zone.
  • When something goes wrong. If a Templates app crashes or freezes, it sends us a crash report. A report says what went wrong in the app and includes the app and system version, the device model and language, and a random number that identifies the installation. It doesn’t include your name, your email address or your documents.
  • When you sign in with Google. In Templates for Google Docs, you can sign in with Google to save templates to your Google Drive. The app then receives your name, email address and profile picture from Google, and permission to open only the files it has saved for you. Your sign-in stays on your device. We don’t receive it.
  • When you send a Dippo technical log. If you choose to email us Dippo’s technical log, it shows what Dippo did over the last week. Before the email opens, Dippo replaces the names of your devices, homes, rooms and plugs with “Device 1”, “Home 1” and so on. You can read the log before you send it.

Some information never reaches us at all. Your devices, electricity tariff, plans and savings in Dippo stay on your iPhone or iPad and in your own iCloud, where only you can see them. Dippo uses Apple Home only to switch the plugs you choose, and that information stays in Apple Home. Your purchases are handled by Apple, so we never see your payment details or your Apple Account.

How we use your personal information

We handle personal information under the EU General Data Protection Regulation and Lithuanian data protection law. We rely on one of the following: you’ve given your consent (for example, for notifications or launch news); we need the information to provide something you asked for (for example, to answer your message); or we have a legitimate interest in keeping our website and apps working and improving them.

We use personal information to:

  • answer your questions and fix problems you report
  • tell you about new templates and offers, but only if you’ve allowed notifications. You can turn them off at any time in your device’s Settings.
  • email you when Dippo launches, but only if you’ve asked us to
  • find and fix crashes and other problems in our apps

We keep messages from you for 24 months after the conversation ends, and crash reports for 90 days. We remove notification registrations for devices that no longer receive notifications within 12 months.

Collection and Use of Non-Personal Information

Non-personal information is data that can’t, on its own, be used to identify a specific person.

Dippo sends us anonymous usage statistics so we can see which features are used and what goes wrong. They say, for example, that a screen was opened or a device was added, which country’s prices are shown, how many devices are set up, and which app and system version are running. They never include your name, the names of your devices, homes or rooms, your location or your electricity bill. Each installation is identified only by a random code, scrambled on your device before anything is sent, so the statistics can’t be traced back to you. You can turn them off in Dippo under Settings › Privacy › Share anonymous usage.

Cookies and Other Technologies

Our website doesn’t use tracking cookies, analytics or advertising. It saves just one small note in your browser to remember your choice in the cookie banner, so the banner doesn’t come back on every visit. If we ever add website analytics, they will stay off unless you allow them, and we’ll update this policy first.

Disclosure to Third Parties

We don’t share personal information with anyone outside Graphic Node, except in the few cases below.

Service providers. We work with a small number of companies that help us run our website and apps: website hosting and forms (Netlify), template storage and notifications (Amazon Web Services, in Frankfurt), crash reports for the Templates apps (Sentry, in Germany), anonymous statistics for Dippo (TelemetryDeck, in Germany) and our support mailbox (Google Gmail). These companies are bound by our instructions and aren’t allowed to use the information for any other purpose.

Services you choose to use. Some features work with other companies’ services, which handle your information under their own privacy policies:

  • Apple, for App Store purchases, iCloud, notifications and Apple Home
  • Google, when you sign in to save templates to Google Drive
  • Elering, the Estonian grid operator, which supplies Dippo’s electricity prices. It only receives the dates Dippo asks for, and your IP address.

Graphic Node’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Others. We may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or if a product is transferred to another company that agrees to follow this policy.

Some of these companies are based in the United States. In those cases, the transfer is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission’s standard contract terms.

Protection of Personal Information

We take the security of your information seriously. Our website and apps use encrypted connections, so information can’t be read on its way to us. Only people who need it to help you can see your messages. If you use iCloud with Advanced Data Protection, your Dippo data is end-to-end encrypted, and even Apple can’t read it.

Access to Personal Information

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or send you a copy. You can also object to how we use it, and withdraw any consent you’ve given. Write to support@graphicnode.com and we’ll reply within a month.

Much of your information is already in your own hands:

  • To stop notifications from a Templates app, turn them off in your device’s Settings.
  • To sign out of Google, use the app, or remove access in your Google account settings.
  • To delete Dippo’s data, first open Dippo’s Settings › Apple Home › Remove Dippo from Apple Home, then delete the app. You can delete its iCloud copy in your device’s Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Account Storage.

We can’t find or delete anonymous statistics for a particular person, because they can’t be linked to anyone.

Children

Our website and apps aren’t intended for children under 14, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has sent us personal information, please let us know and we’ll delete it.

Third-Party Sites and Services

Our website and apps may link to other companies’ websites and services, such as the App Store, Google Drive, Canva or Microsoft Office. Their own privacy policies apply there, so we recommend reading them.

Privacy Questions

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, or would like to make a complaint, write to us at support@graphicnode.com.

Graphic Node Ezero g. 2, Girėnai, LT-71148 Šakių r., Lithuania

You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time. If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top first, and mention important changes in our apps’ release notes.
